Premier helps new hospital make significant financial improvements

Sentara Obici Hospital is a 150-bed, state-of-the-art facility in Suffolk, Va. Opened in April 2002, the hospital continues a 50-year tradition of providing residents of Suffolk and Western Tidewater Virginia with patient-centered care in an environment that focuses on healing. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient care and treatment services.

Situation:

A newly constructed hospital faced daunting financial hurdles.
