Some of the areas that are supported through our consultative services are:
- Identify clinically appropriate savings strategies
- Analyze use of high volume/cost drugs
- Benchmark/compare prescriptive practices to other hospitals
- Evaluate economic/cultural feasibility of all targets
- Provide recommendations, including enablers, to health system
Fee-for-service offerings
We also offer fee-based drug cost management initiatives through our consultative pharmacists. This will provide a very thorough review of the drug purchases, practices, and process in the hospital. Our fees are discounted for Premier members and typically finds cost savings opportunities valued at least three times the fee.
